A prayer before reading
Father of light, open the eyes of my heart so I may truly see You. Grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation, and enlighten my understanding as I come to Your Word. Quiet my thoughts, steady my attention, and prepare my heart to receive Your truth with clarity and joy. Illuminate every word I read today so I may know You more deeply, hear Your voice, and be transformed by Your presence. Amen.
